This is how I made our vacation a little lasting… 💚

Stones and cacti were all collected from the island. The big cactus in the front was even fallen off after a windy night! 🏝️

Screwed me took 1,5 weeks to get cacti soil and get this done. Poor cacti waiting in the paper towel. LOL. But omg this was so fun!! 🤩 praying that they will survive!!! 🌵 #cacti https://video.nostr.build/6a2b3aa9d4ed21201bb75ac7b8d0e9303ba35683646c9a8377ac027112e0f8ad.mp4

They should be fine. Many cacti can survive for weeks, months, or even years, out of soil. Sometimes that is a method to get them to pup.

I hope the thrive for you!

Ahhh thanks you’re right!

That’s why I didn’t prioritize but the succulents on the sides, I simplified it and said cacti, started to get a lil mushy 😱😂 but the 2 in the middle didn’t change at all :)🌵

I've had cactus cuttings that I intended to throw away, because they were damaged and small, grow pups after a few months of being ignored outside in a dry shaded area.

I gave them away, and the pics of them that I see now blow my mind. The new growth looks large, healthy, and green.

Cacti and succulents are amazing. You can graft almost any species together too!

Where did you store them, did they just lay on the floor outside?

Yes I saw some crazy cactus graft videos! 😯😯

They were under an RV. Most were sitting on a bucket lid, so I could easily dump them in a bag. Some were on gravel.
