Unfortunately "limited-government" seems to be an oxymoron. The United States started out as what was supposed to be a limited government and has grown into the largest government in history (and most dangerous).

The idea of being a republic also has to be let go. This comes from ancient Rome, and like Rome, the United States was transformed from a republic into an empire ruled by a powerful executive.

True freedom would require the absence of a State, and a voluntaryist, private property society.
