The biggest infringements on freedom are the welfare-state and the national-security-state way of life under which we live. In order to achieve a genuinely free society, it is necessary to dismantle these two massive governmental structures and replace them with a structure that is based on the principles of the free market, voluntary charity, and a limited-government republic.

Unfortunately "limited-government" seems to be an oxymoron. The United States started out as what was supposed to be a limited government and has grown into the largest government in history (and most dangerous).

The idea of being a republic also has to be let go. This comes from ancient Rome, and like Rome, the United States was transformed from a republic into an empire ruled by a powerful executive.

True freedom would require the absence of a State, and a voluntaryist, private property society.
