I used Android exclusively for 10 years and Ubuntu for 4 years, adamant that iOS and Mac OS X were inferior. I’m now using iOS and macOS exclusively.

I had to use a Mac for 5 minutes last year to produce and live stream a football game. I felt like I was the slowest person in that stadium. I can't use that OS. It's so complicated.

I’ve used Mac for around 12 years and when I have to use windows I feel like it’s complicated in comparison 🤣

Linux and Mac feel right at home for me. It’s anytime I have to use a Windows machine for anything other than simple web browsing, I feel lost. I wish Mac had used BeOS as the underlying OS structure rather than NeXT…now that as an OS was ahead of its time!

I remember using BeOS in the late 90's. We had a BeBox at my old repair shop. It was ahead of it's time.

Haiku Beta 4 just came out, so you could get back in that BeOS vibe :)They’ve ported GTK now in addition to Qt so lots of Linux apps run on there now. I’ve been playing around with it on the Steam Deck, just for nostalgia. I used it as my main OS for a while years ago, developed some small apps for it. But I never liked C++ programming, so I moved on eventually. Still go back to it every now and then though, it just makes me smile, there is something about it.

I use a Mac desktop and laptop but I have never owned an iPhone but use one for work.  Not a fan but I've now accepted it makes sense given I use a Mac and have a substantial photo collection.
