I swear to all the gods, Microsoft is a worthless fucking company that does not deserve to put out software anymore. Holy hell.

Extremely antagonistic towards anyone who slightly has any sort of leanings towards privacy. Use a privacy browser? You can't log into any of our shit. Use a VPN? Yeah, go fuck yourself.

Windows 11 is a goddamn nanny state of a fucking operating system While, I'm at it.

(Yes, I'm grumpy because I was forced to boot into the window side of my computer for a thing.)

Yeah it wants a TPM 2.0 chip iirc. But you can flip a few bits in the registry and get around that. Or at least you used to be able to. Not super up to date on windows stuff.

Just minorly frustrating. I needed to sign into teams for a meeting and even after logging into my own account with two-factor authentication, they hit me with an access denied. 😅

Boot into windows and it just fucking works.

You should quintuple boot. Not because you need another OS, but just to decrease the relative percentage of your OS'es that are Windows.

My dude, I only bothered to switch to Debian in the first place because I had lots of practice already, because Windows 11 was consistently crashing on me, and because I hate Microsoft.

I have zero practice with Arch Linux. I don't experience crashes anymore. And the Debian team respects user privacy and preferences. Why would I ever switch to Arch Linux? And what would I "free myself" from by doing that?

I don't own a windows computer. If something is windows only it's not worth using and there's probably a better FOSS alternative.

No I need a dedicated side of windows for Ableton. And even though Linux gaming has improved, it's actually kind of nice to not have to play video games on a VPS anymore. So Ableton and video games, which I don't play very often, but it's nice to have.
