Merry Christmas! It’s been 2 years and 5 days on #Nostr and here’s what I’ve learned:

1. Not Your Rack; Not Your Stack

- In order to own your part of the internet you’d need to physically own it and host it.

- There is no middle ground. Just like Not Your Keys, Not Your Coins. You must take the responsibility for the code, manage the machine you have in front of you.

2. FOSS ( Free Open Source Software) wins every time!

- Developers are the lifeblood of the internet! They carry a daily motivation to be better than the day prior and clean up what was once messy.

- Deciding to be on a winnning team means understanding why the team is winning and supporting them in that way.

3. NOSTR is the signal but there is still lots of noise!

- I don’t care if this platform is ever popular it feels popular enough right now! The more people come the more niche the groups and apps clients and decentralized everything can be!

- With GM and PV’s and everything in between, what makes nostr is the greatness of the people using it 🫂

Thanks for all your crazies. I’m so happy to be here with you!
