I'd recommend new users to not just use their Twitter profile picture, right Jack? We should push for them to use another service to upload the profile photos, such as void.cat, nostr.build, nostrimg.com, imgur.com, imgbb.com, etc.

Not only did I abandon my twitter profile picture I let go of my twitter handle. If Elon buying twitter was a false flag intended to draw out right wing speech and the alphabet agencies were still involved with twitter, they could also track you on Nostr. Its a temptation to try and build a following here if you were a big shot on twitter, but not worth the risk IMHO.
Maybe there should be a NIP to use IPFS as storage for images, videos, etc... on nostr?
Of course. But it’s easy at the moment. I need to change mine.
