Got to wonder who believes this week's NPR commentary (totally "fact-checked") that the only way to get BTC now is to exchange fiat for it, therefore it's backed by fiat π€π
Obviously this ignores Bitcoin decentralization, verifiability, proof of work, mining, etc. But it changes the narrative from being worthless, backed by nothing/blind speculation/greater-fool theory to being a proxy for dollars.
There's probably more of an agenda toward co-opting rather than suppressing, hence ETFs, KFC, arrests, etc. I'm curious about what the corporate/deep-state overlords are actually requesting behind the scenes.
