Nostr fam is 1 of 2 multisig possible? I would be using 2 coldcard Qs.

Any other better suggestions on how to have a wallet setup that 2 different parties know a separate seed and can move corn independently? nostr:nprofile1qqsfrjd9ux5hgsg5cmlz6cdwfh5zv2024g8m2t6g9zqf83l8uqm0svspp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpr3mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmqqzqhqe nostr:nprofile1qqspnzgrfett3asxcuj0gksje6z2zxzpvgd27uvz58m9vsuqh8zzw6cpr9mhxw309a382emdv9hzumt8w4ujumn9wsargwp58qq3vamnwvaz7tmzv46xztnwdaehgunfdshxxctd9a4sn7 nostr:nprofile1qqs9pk20ctv9srrg9vr354p03v0rrgsqkpggh2u45va77zz4mu5p6ccpzemhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgkwaehxw309a5xjum59ehx7um5wghxcctwvshsfmrzrk

That wouldn’t be multisig. Why use two seeds? Just use the same one on both coldcards

I suppose you're right. ....this is shared 🌽, and we have our personal holdings as well so am I looking at each of us having to secure two seed phrases?

You could also use different passphrases, so there are only minimal differences between your individual wallets. For example, you could have the same 12 recovery words, but each of you adds your own passphrase for your personal stack

The main purpose of multisig is to prevent someone from accessing your stack if they obtain one key. A 1/2 multisig could be built but would basically have no purpose because there is no security gain when a single signature is all that's needed to move funds.

2/3 or 3/5 are common quorums people often use. 2/2 is possible with only a couple devices, but if you lose any key and its backup then you'd be in trouble.

Good clarifications. Also, 2/2 is like some people do to themselves when they split their recovery words. Careful doing that. Also, challenging is the 24 words plus the 25th word (the passphrase). This is also a 2/2 scenario, and you need both and need to store them wisely. So many gotchas.

Yep is possible, I know of a few couples who do exactly that, multisig 1/2.

If the goal is to have a “shared account” with your partner sounds right to me 👍🏼
