Starting the day with a new coffee roast out of the Aeropress.

Tomorrow I’ll be headed to my new place and it’ll be a great reality check since it’s going to pour all day, so I’ll get to know first hand what kind of life I’ll have to expect in the coming months, being solely dependent on my bicycle for transport in and out of the small town I’ll be living in. 😌 This time I come prepared: No laptop & weather resistent clothing. (Except for the shoes

I’ll be getting the keys for the new house 2 weeks earlier for free. Let’s hope Deutsche Bahn won’t fuck up my timetable too much. Got to be back at the fiat mines quite early on Monday.

I've never tried Aeropress. I'm a big coffee guy do you think its better than my Delonghi espresso machine ?

It's different, no way to quantify. Some claim to make Espresso like shots with it but it's not comparable IMHO. Even built a contraption to increase the force on the plunger to test the limits of what's possible years ago and it still wasn't close to Espresso. No way you're getting a thick crema from that.

I jump a lot between pour over drip coffee (V60), filter coffee (Aeropress) and my portafilter Espresso machine, depending on taste, texture, caffeine preference and mood. I prefer fruitier, more modern roasts for V60/Aeropress.

Thanks I'm gonna look into it
