Don’t trust it Derek!!!

We’re lucky they’ve tried to build AGI via LLMs which are never going to be the path. We’ve got time to figure this shit out

Agree. Predictable text seems to be the opposite pathway to AGI.

There is a silver lining - the parasite class are so desperate for a productivity miracle and too stupid to see this ain’t it that they’ll allow/fund/support a massive buildout of infrastructure for DCs/internet/power that’s gonna get built and go to waste in the bust.

Bitcoin miners will step in to pick up the pieces for pennies on the dollar.

Maybe we can ask around the edges? 😁

Echelon thought the same in the movie Echelon Conspiracy. Like you've said in a comment above, the AI can only learn from the data we feed to it and the parameters embedded in the code. For example if the parameter is "protecting freedom" eventually the AI could come to the conclusion that we're the biggest threat to freedom and then attempt to act accordingly. Meaning, what AI tells you now might be not the same as what AI THINKS in 20 years from now.
