Yeah, just don't wash it. Air it out, overnight, and then wear it again, the next day.

That's why hikers love wool.

Especially merino.

That was some years ago. Actually other wool can be textiled like merino

Good to know. I've been a bit out of the loop as Bitcoin podcasts took over the time I used to spend listening to Backpacker Radio.

The modern merinos are amazing, tho.

Remember, wool (and leather) are meant to be worn by animals, so they don't stink when you sweat.

Why do some dogs smell so bad then?

The yeast and bacteria on their skin gets trapped in the water. When they dry, then smell goes away.

The wool sometimes smells a bit, under the armpits, when I take it off, but I air it out and then it smells fine and can be worn again.
