Just wear wool all year.
Always perfect temperature, always looks good, and you'll hardly have to wash clothes.

but if you have to wash it is a pain π€£
Yeah, just don't wash it. Air it out, overnight, and then wear it again, the next day.
That's why hikers love wool.
Remember, wool (and leather) are meant to be worn by animals, so they don't stink when you sweat.
Not if you have something like this π (you just throw them in)
How do you manage during summer? I am actually curious.
Wool actually isn't as hot as you'd think in summer. It wicks moisture, and is breathable. Most clothesclothes intended for summer are thinner/lighter weight.
Yeah, I just wear thinner wool. I even have some tank-tops that are merino wool mixed with silk and they are incredibly fine and light. I wear them as undershirts in the winter and as tops in the summer.
The prices are very high, of course, but you only need 2 or 3, and I've worn them for over a decade. π€·π»ββοΈ
I also have not that many different pices. Always wearing the same black shirt, protects your brain capacity.
Yeah, my wardrobe keeps shrinking in number of items, but rising in price per item. I can't even get a single load of laundry together, once per week, in winter.
Wear the same outfit 4 days in a row, and then switch to a different version of the same thing, while that washes.
My daughter is a crochet-junkie, so I'm on the couch, finishing my Easter stitching and she's working on her alpaca cape and we're like

One great benefit is that if it gets wet you don't feel cold like with other fabrics (another great reason why hikers like it). Also wool is not slippery on ice (you can use wool socks outside of your shoes on a slippery ice road).
The negative is they tear up easily (if they don't have some elastine)
I have hiking socks, out of cushioned wool, they have a bit of elastine in them, I think. Very stretchy.
