This morning, I was working in the field with my 4-year-old daughter.

When we walked back, she took my hand. I felt the breeze on my skin, the sun in my eyes, and the pure joy of walking there with her. She looked up at me and said, "I love you, Mom." I could not hold back the tears of love, gratitude, and happiness.

I will cherish this moment and be thankful every day that we changed our lives around, so I don’t rush to drop her off at kindergarten but can have moments like this instead!
