HELP!
Gooood Mooorning Nostr!
I need help. I am an Alby wallet user. The wallet is of course connected to Nostr to send and receive zaps. Now Alby tells me that I need to setup my own LN node, but I'm such a small fish that it is not feasable (and quite complicated, I'm not really technical...). I'd like to continue sending and receiving zaps even with a custodial LN wallett. I know it is not the best, but we are talking like a few thousend sats...
Any suggestions?

Build or buy an Umbrel. Use AlbyHuby a/phoenixd. Lightning node functionality without lightning node forced close losses.

There is a relay-handled eCash solution in development by nostr:nprofile1qqs04xzt6ldm9qhs0ctw0t58kf4z57umjzmjg6jywu0seadwtqqc75sprfmhxue69uhhq7tjv9kkjepwve5kzar2v9nzucm0d5hsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshszynhwden5te0wp6hyurvv4cxzeewv4esdp32r9. It is very likely that a solution will be coming for you to send and receive zaps using ecash mints which implement this approach. Until then you could try https://npub.cash to receive zaps.
I'm not sure, but I thought Primal had its own wallet in the app?
Another option is if you know other alby users (family/friends) you can share the costs of the node and share the lightning channel.
