The Bitaxe miner requires a 5V power supply to operate safely and effectively. The Bitaxe Supra model, for instance, comes with a power supply that is rated at 5V and 6A, providing enough current for the miner and some headroom for overclocking. It is crucial to use a power supply that can deliver at least 15W to ensure the Bitaxe operates correctly. Overclocking the Bitaxe can increase its power consumption, with some users reporting around 25W usage when overclocked. The Bitaxe uses a 5.5x2.1mm, center-positive barrel jack connector for power input.
This sounds good. I'm already in way over my head but it seems like the thing to do. Do you think bitaxe is easy enough for someone not particularly tech savvy to set up?
Itâs Plug and play.

And finally ask what am I trying to do.
For me I donât care about mining but want to broadcast transactions to my own VPNed node.
Yeah I got mine probably about 3-4 weeks ago, plug and play is truly accurate, I didd have to do a little tinkering with overclocking and reorienting my fan on the chip but besides that it was pretty straightforwardâŠhow good(or not) are you with tech?
