What the hell is this “new” feature?
Slow charge my phone to reduce carbon foot print?
No thanks… What’s next?

I was so thankful when I found this setting. Also turned off optimized charging. When my phone is plugged in I want it charging and charging as quickly as possible.
Just weird shit they slip in.
Go on, you have my attention
Slow charging will help the battery live a longer life, and keeping it below ~85% will also help to make it last a longer life. That'll be ten carbon credits thanks 💩
Slowly chip away, moving the Overton Window
Holy shit it's rationing tech just like Laser said.
Kinda hits you different when it all comes to fruition on your own device.
Now you know why they want smart cars and smart guns and smart doorbells and smart homes.
This was my theory on why they wanted to ban natural gas stoves and appliances.
Force the electrical metering, aka carbon credits
We used to all have gas stoves in out houses here on my reservation until the 70s, then one day the government came in , replaced them against our will with newer more “safe” and “efficient” gas stoves, put propane tanks in the lawns and it was never the same.
I charge my Pixel in 45 minutes with #GrapheneOS using this big ass charger: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0876XZ5SS
Rationing tech is for NPCs. Migrate to user-controlled platforms.

They're virtue signaling as a marketing gimmick
It’s just another step in normalizing the jargon.
That’s some utopian bs…wait no, actually it’s just them playing the game. I bet 100,000 Sats that it is just as useless as paper straws are to saving the planet.
If companies were serious about this, why doesn’t every Starbucks, Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, govt buildings, schools have something as simple as recycling bins. How about we start small with easy stuff before we try and change everything about our daily lives. Until that happens, it’s all just massive virtue signaling to help their bottom line.
Plastic Straws < Handing Out Boxes of Plastic Syringes
(Insert Drake Meme)
“Please recycle that plastic thing”

It used to be called green washing and was always about image. Like how every company now offers ways for you to state your preferred pronouns.
It's a way for them to garner appeal with a particularly intolerant group of people while everyone else just stays quiet or plays along. From their perspective it seems like a free roll.
Yeah, the fact they think we fall for it, (or really sad that people do fail for it), says a lot about what they really think of their clients. Notice the good brands don’t treat their customers with anything but respect and real tolerance without pointing fingers at themselves.
Thanks, no clue this was there. Plants need carbon dioxide. I like to idle the truck a little longer to feed the plants
Thanks for the tip! Turned off immediately 🔋
