Just my humble opinion, but you should’ve done it in a first place. Sorry but mobile designs should go first. Nobody cares about desktop. It’s like 20% of the traffic you gona get.
This is good feedback and yes, we definitely should’ve done it way earlier.
Ah and one last thing so you do not step into a trap. Do not create designs for landscape. Do not support it. Only portrait. Nobody uses landscape and discussion about its designs are always very exhausting. Speaking out of my product management experience.
You can later think about Tablet / Big monitors 1300px+.
For people that want to use landscape you can just display to them - please rotate to portrait animation and call it a day.
