We were probably mislead a bit by some bad clips regarding his statement about needing foreigners, as the context was specifically about reshoring specialized industries (i.e. the battery plant in GA needing the Koreans)

It’s also not true. We don’t need the Koreans but a Korean company is going to when they expand use as much of its existing labor force as possible and it stands to reason they would have a team of people from the last plant they set up who are Korean. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t American born engineers incapable of the work.
