I need a new #laptop. I prefer Linux, but I keyboards are important to me. What would you recommend, anon?

Tuxedo.
ThinkPad is still the only option...
My thinkpad just died, but I tend to agree. Just wanted to see if there was a better option yet. Thank you Max.
There are a couple good external mechanical keyboards with track point, but I don't know of a laptop with integrated track point other than ThinkPad.
Lenovo in general. I rock an ideapad and it does great for me. Just remember to get an SD adapter
Purism and Framework are 2 good laptop choices.
I'll check them out. Purism looks cool, but I don't want to spend that many sats without testing the keyboard first. I've never heard of framework. Thanks.
i run linux mint on a lenovo yoga. all good except occasional bluetooth / sound issues, but i think they stem from the windows partition (dual boot)
