Can some please help me understand why I cannot ādisconnectā from Zbd?
My nostr has been hostile taken over by Zbdā¦and I made the mistake of associating my nsec. I was able to correct this issue before, but this time I cannot..

If I need to just start fresh with a new nsecā¦so be it, but damnā¦
So, I think I figured it out, but had to load an older version of Damusā¦
@jb55 when the new upload came through, my nostr reverted to my Zbdā¦ I couldnāt correct anything on Damus, but, loaded an older version, signed out of both and signed back into Damus, profile is back with no link to Zbdā¦
Going to test loading the newest push to see if it does anything to the profileā¦
Probably related to the Damus TestFlight bug where profile updates arenāt showing up, but as far as your nsec goes, you should just burn it and start a new one since you signed up for ZBD with it.

I muted the old npub for nostr:npub1e0fdte5uun45zqwqpm8ufnxns5yfna4v5e6dacpgp7aqzcsrm0cq9vptlx so I don't get them confused. Is there a way muting and reporting in Amethyst could be separated?

That doesnāt sound good. Once you put your nsec in zbd, you need to assume itās compromised
Itās definitely notā¦I donāt want my profile changed to their social siteā¦ kinda pissed, kinda feel like the dumbass, but mostly feel like others really need to understand what happens when they do what I have done.
Iām on an older version of Damus, it reverted to that profile, but I have not tested the new version now that my profile shows the correct info againā¦
And newest Damus update reverts to the wrong profileā¦

Maybe tagging your new npub on your old profile ?

Take the medicine and start a new one š never put your nsec into a client that isnt open source and its evident they only store your nsec locally on your device.
I was saving this original piece for zapathon but it fits so well here
