I've always had the impression it's easier in Iran versus other countries, because Iranians are much more aware of their situation, than say ... most people from western countries.
Like VPN's for example. Probably X-times more users in Iran, than the average country; Sure part is censorship, but part is that they prefer the US government tracking them, over their own.
yeah no. maybe before last year yeah, but it’s still hard for them trust anything given what happened.
i personally am working with numerous of young folk in iran, they have difficulty trusting anything online even with vpns.
Well, I don't trally trust anything online, or VPN's so we're on the same page.
I guess Nostr might feel a little too open? Too easy to track relations? I mean, if they find that key, or the pub of someone else on you, it's easy for them to follow-up / threaten you.
