I printed out some of my tablet drawings I thought looked okay and double stick taped them to my wall. I like this better than the blank white wall 😊

Came out nice! I’m thinking of trying to print some of my iPad drawings as-well any tips?! I’m looking into papers and where to print. Mine are mostly full color
I just used normal printer paper in our epsom inkjet printer. There are some lines from the printer but my hope was having a full wall of the drawings would distract from that. Ideally I think you’d have a local shop print them on matte cardstock at at least 300dpi but I’m not extremely knowledgeable on this. I mainly wanted to be able to see the drawings I’ve done. Having them tucked away on the iPad it was easy to forget all the time and effort I’d put into them. Now I can glance up and think about what I’d like to draw next and feel like I’ve actually made something. 😅
I love the minimalist geometry of this piece.

Thank you! I know non yo-yoers won’t think about it but when a person who has yo-yoed for years looks at this half of them get really angry that my hand is facing “the wrong way”
I am very much a non yo-yoer. I did not notice. Nor do I still... Lol.
Tried the way of the yo-yo a few times, never got too far without hitting myself in the balls or the face.
Poi spinning was the thing that hooked me on movement arts.
Poi is amazing! I have always wanted to get the basics down so I could mess with fire poi. It’s so mesmerizing.
Haven't pulled them out for a few years now, but I can confirm fire poi are awesome.
Back in my late teens I had an arrangement with an entertainment company where they would send me out to events to perform. Made all my own costumes too.
It was a really fun period in my life, even if it was short-lived. There is a certain joy in performance. A shared experience with a crowd as you take them on a journey. It's addictive.
Been nearly a decade since I've done any of that, but I cherish the memories.
That is awesome 😊 I can relate to being sent to do demonstrations, though never with fire personally. I can understand the excitement though :) thank you for sharing that with me 🤝
The same thing in drawing. There’s “the right way” to hold a pencil when drawing, and another for writing text.
A lot of Yt drawing tutorials now even drill this into the viewer that if you want to draw well, you’ll always hold your pencil properly.
I just can’t draw precisely if I’m holding a pencil like a tiny twig.
