Insert the seed phrase to another wallet?

Get a cold card

Agreed but a bit technical for the avg pleb.

The instructions he is showing here is the same for a Coldcard. You can setup Sparrow with Coldcard from the start and avoid the potential problems.

Sparrow in the usa? Just usa a vpn? Hows that work?

Sparrow is available everywhere. You don’t need a VPN if you run your own node.

This was an awesome video. Thank you for your time and effort. I use a Trezor because I’ve been listening/watching your content since back when you recommended them. I have systemized my storage and recovery process and it would be a hard process to change and to have loved ones re-learn. I look forward to the video that explains the recovery process when having a passphrase. Thanks again, Matt.

Great video Matt, as usual. However you left out some very important essential pieces of information. Bitcoiners in general and the people watching your videos highly value security and will very likely have used additional passphrases on their wallets. Trezor calls it a "hidden wallet", Jade calls it something else. Therefore at 4:16 if you do not enter that additional password exactly as used for "hidden wallet" or passphrase, Sparrow will not import your wallet correctly. Same thing at 7:40... you absolutely have to check the "Use passphrase" checkbox and enter the additional word or you will be unsuccessful. So when you say at 4:26 "this has nothing to do with your actual bitcoin private keys"... this is a little misleading.

that's why open source software is important , you don't depend on one entity/developer for continuity of your product.
