Probably some good soil there. I’ve pulled a few and scythed down more. They like lots of water and always seem to have a lot of worms around their roots.

Yes, around here you see a lot around old dairies. We had a dairy up the hill from us until recently which is the principal source. Where that is growing is some of the best soil on the property which, granted, isn't saying a whole lot. Lol
