For some reason I was under the impression that Start9 didn't run well on RasPi.

StartOS runs fine on a raspberry, it's just that a Pi is not sufficient anymore to run Bitcoin Core. You can run other more lightweight services just fine though.
That's good to know. I do have an old laptop lying around. It's really old, though.
