The damus dev talked about banning IP's already. And what I said is true, they are talking about sharing block lists just like FediBlock. How is it deceitful? I trying the usual forewarning speech that nobody cares about
He talked about banning his npub for questionably legal speech. It doesn’t change that his relays would be distributed so ppl can still find him.
Relays don’t share info. If you are mass blocked, it will be hard to find your free speech relay
There’s a nip that talks about it tho. Not sure if it actually happens yet or not.
