then why does everyone want shared blocklists and censorship? There are even talks to impement it

I mean you could block someone yes but if a client/relay implemented a algorithm you didn’t like you could just switch to a different one. Not worrying about centralization of data

That is a lame and unrealistic answer. With mass censorship, nobody will even know your relay exists
