The only reason V for Vendetta was allowed to be made because it was a commentary on the “right wing” US and UK regimes at the time. 14 years later the greatest human rights crimes ever were instituted by Hollywood’s team and they can’t even look in the mirror and realize anyone involved with COVID mania were the baddies. I find it quite ironic and humorous that the fear of “right wing conservatives” were, in fact, realized by the most radical group of leftists since Mao’s cultural revolution. Authoritarianism is authoritarianism, no matter who is implementing it.

If by conservatism you mean belief in free markets, limited government, and traditional morality, including religious influences, then these are all things that the fascists opposed just as much as the left does today.
