I like slnt stuff. They have a mess of products.

Attractive?

Meaning not plain metal slabs welded together but maybe with some carving, scalloped edges, or some other decorative detail.

Do I ask too much? Steve Jobs used to catch hell from his team for trying to implement beauty into his designs, too LOL

Oh. I suppose. I tend to prefer functional and simple to make... But that's not as esthetically pleasing. šŸ˜…

Function is first and foremost. Just wondered if there were decorative options. Thanks for not laughing me out of the timeline 🤪

Why would I? Girls like pretty things. There's nothing wrong with that, usually.

Beauty can be a cult, if taken to extremes of vulgarity, vagary, venality. I prefer form and function, with flourish in appropriate measure. But I am also a minimalist who believes that less is more. It’s complicated.

Cookie tin?

Great idea, but is it strong enough metal (tin)? Thought it had to be stronger, yet, if tin foil works, then why not a decorative cookie tin…

So this isn’t the most quantitative I don’t the physics enough to say that it will withstand an EMP. Does magnitude of EM matter?

But you can stick a small AM/FM radio in with the volume up. And when you close the tin it will go silent.

lol this was not proof read well. But I hope you get my meaning. You can ā€œproveā€ it’s a faraday cage by blocking the signal to a radio, probably a phone too.
