There are much more profitable things we can be doing with our time and money, like earning fiat and buying Bitcoin with it. No way to beat the returns on that, especially before the having.
Nobody is here just for possible future profits, but that would be nice. 😂 Otherwise, at some point, we'll all just be broke, and everyone will be like, "Shoulda just worked overtime and bought more Bitcoin."

Also I don't think it's * just * that. I think it is very possible that nostr (or something like nostr... 'freedom tech' or whatever you want to call it) will indeed be profitable. I think it's both on principle of online freedom and that is potentially profitable. I think that's a fairly sensible speculation if so. I don't know lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
It might be profitable, but Bitcoin is the only real investment game in town.
I guess we're all just not primarily driven by money, but that doesn't mean we want to work for negative-pay indefinitely.
