I just got 2 peasant dresses--one blue and one red for Christmas. I'm loving them. Normally they wouldn't be warm enough for most Wyoming winter days, but this winter is so warm, they are perfect.

Oh, that is such a nice shape. The gathers sit really well. 🤩 And I love the blue.
Dresses and skirts in the winter ftw, IMO. I wear long wool underwear, under them, and it's so warm. It also tends to be windy, here, and it functions as a wind-break.
I bought some linen material, today, to make one of those Viking dresses. I hope it doesn't end in tears. 🙈
I haven't sewn clothes, in years.
