Dresses and skirts in the winter ftw, IMO. I wear long wool underwear, under them, and it's so warm. It also tends to be windy, here, and it functions as a wind-break.
I bought some linen material, today, to make one of those Viking dresses. I hope it doesn't end in tears. 🙈

Yeah, I learned a long time ago to wear leggings under my dresses. It is so windy here. I can't tell you the number of times when my kids were young and I was carrying a bunch of stuff in and out of church, that a big gust would hit and start to blow my dress up around my ears and I'd just plop down on the steps until the wind stopped. Even with leggings underneath, that is not the look I want people at church remembering about me.
That sounds like weather for a straight skirt. 😂
