What an absolute delight. Very intuitive and good UI/UX once sideloaded to nostr:nprofile1qqs9df4h2deu3aae83fmet5xmrlm4w5l9gdnsy3q2n7dklem7ezmwfcpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq5xamn8ghj7dnvv45xs7tywde8g6rpvakkjuekw46nvar4vdhxgan6wumkxatzwpckk6rk0puhjdm2da5k7ce5x4kkkumjx3jkzepwdahxjmmwqyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnwdaehgu3wd9hxvmckqw0xz. The step by step walk through is easy to follow even for tech retards and after waiting for the 6 confs, the channel is up and running.

Really loved how easy and simply functional the transfer from the custodial balance was, too.

The accompanying Go app is cool. No bullshit froo froo functionality. Just two boomer friendly buttons to send/receive.

Bravo to the team. This is how adoption will be driven forward 🙌

Hey I was considering doing this setup just for knowledge’s sake and I can see some benefit to being able to help businesses set themselves up for accepting bitcoin. But I was wondering about the following two scenarios:

1) what are the implications to your node and your short term ability to use Alby hub for transacting and using the connected services if your start9 server ever fails and you have to rebuild it from the ground up

2) what are the implications to the same if the primary PC that you use as your start9 terminal and has all of your wallet and Alby browser extensions goes down or needs a total rebuild.

3) how does auto renewal of the service work each month for the Alby hub service

I’m big on redundancy and not having a “house of cards” transacting setup (versus just keeping it simple with a spending and receiving lightning wallet on mobile) that relies entirely on the health and functioning of both my node and my main PC.

Any comments or thoughts are appreciated.
