Very high fees

Included a channel open @ 10k sats

How much inbound liquidity for this channel ?

100k

The ratio is always 1:1 ?

No 100k only typically.

New service will allow more

^^^

You just « Drain wallet »?

No. I still have Sats on Phoenix and will send some to MUUN, Breez, AQUA or Mutiny.

I did that yesterday too. Seems to be a trend

Yep. Phoenix is removing their app from all app stores for U.S.-based users. And they asked U.S.-based users to drain their Phoenix wallets to another wallet.

Way to pressure the network. Am not USA based but didn't like their moves so I left. R.I.P

hopefully the initial funding of a channel was bigger than merely 100k

Nope

100k

IN THIS ECONOMY???

I don’t understand the question. Please rephrase.

it was a joke about high fee environment.

regarding lightning channels, its best to open a big channel "once" and then use it and have bigger capacity for payments.

because otherwise a small channel gets filled up really quickly and you would need another ones to open.

100k sats is about $70 which is really nothing.

id recommend at least 1,000,000 sats channels, when you open them.

so send at once a big sum of money, then once channel is opened you can send a portion out and enjoy big capacity

Appreciate the info 💪
