Eh. The same can be said for any open protocol or open source data. It’s not unique to nostr.

I agree! But a shocking number of nostr users I talk to are not aware of that and assume that nostr is either private and or somehow their npub (that they cross verify with kyc platforms themselves) will magically protect them from censorship, targeting, or coercion.

Good point. More education on this front would be of benefit.

If only there was a way to randomize or proxy the npub.
