Thank you for saying this!! They take a HUGE chunk of our income and the majority of the US is just like okay with it?? Then by the time we get our social security retirement fund between ages 62-70, we get a MONTHLY income (not a lump sum) of our earnings back up until the day we die while the US gov gets to keep the rest postmortem. Is it adjusted to inflation? NO! How is that fucking ACCEPTABLE!?
