I'll try my best. Like bitcoin, Nostr is a decentralized network. It means that there are multiple servers around the world running the protocol and storing the data themselves. Umbrel is a tool that helps you run your own bitcoin "server" that we call a Full Node. And Umbrel already lets you run your own Nostr relay. The big news now is that you will be able to run also one of the Nostr Clients, the Snort. It means now people will be fully sovereign, not having to rely on anyone. It is decentralization at its top.
