Without VPN it is narrowed down to the city you live in. Or even the street you wlk through. So to a few countries is a huge improvement.
Unless you use Starlink. Every location-aware website thinks I'm in Seattle.

Not really. In your note you give what a website sees. No explanation on why. Or if you are from seattle or not.
The "why" is Starlink (as I stated in the note). I am not in Seattle, as could easily be determined by the context of the note. If I was in Seattle, the note wouldn't make sense.
