Well yes I bet many are waking up a bit now. This generation saw the disaster of female idiocy and bullyism. I am teaching my son to know in deep details his friends and never underestimate any red flag. Having a supporting partner on your side instead of a selfish enemy is key to live well.
I salute you for teaching these lessons to your son because given the damage that feminism has done to the ladies? He definitely needs to clued up about these things before he winds up in the arms of a Jezebel. Plus you equip him to be able to recognize a good woman without downplaying reality. IMO, it doesn't make sense to involve the State by making your girlfriend your wife.
And yes, in some countries, e.g. Canada, you are financially liable without marriage if you live with your girlfriend, but that's not the case in most places.
When you involve the State, you have 0 upside and maximum downside.

Gosh that’s tough! CA and NY are the worst places to get a divorce because you’ll definitely be taken to the cleaners and if only your relative had some corn 🌽 he would have been ok but now he is toast. SMH, many such cases
