I’ve been working with a similar project myself, but not that strict. Fasting 16-8, 3x workouts a week. Needed to take action after I became 40, and the kids are not an excuse to be lazy anymore.

Maybe I need to put in some extra effort, seems quite effective.

The effort is worth it. I tracked every single calorie. That made a huge difference.

Did you use an app to count calories?

I've used MyFitnessPal daily since 2018. Love it!
