When many people first started moving over to #nostr about a year ago. His argument was that we needed to be focusing on Bitcoin development instead of nostr. While Bitcoin is important certainly, nostr has brought about an entirely new use case for bitcoin.
It also gave devs something else new to work on when they were burnt out when working on Bitcoin.
