Tagging and search is still pretty dismal. But imo thats a common gripe and its being worked on.
Also this is not something that I hate personally but the recent censorship shitstorm got me thinking in terms of a normal user coming from twitter or facebook. User level moderation is still pretty bad. Along with content discovery.
I know all of these things are being worked on but it does prevent me from shilling nostr to *everyone*. For instance I have a client the who runs a local sports radio station but they absolutely hate legacy social media. They are open to the idea of nostr but the lack of an area specifc userbase, discoverability, and robust mod tools for their feed keep them away.
