Dr Gabor Mate says when there is trauma! There is a disconnection between mind and body and to heal , this connection must be made ! So you need to pay attention to what your body feels! ( mindfulness)!

So when there are psychological disorders, trauma being one, according to him you loose the connection! Between body and brain! To heal one must become mindful of how he/ she feels and how does the body react to that feeling!

To be aware of how your body feels and react to everything! Fascinating!
