The state will try to convince the people that the market is taking from them by taking from the state.

They already do this by demonizing successful people in the private market as being greedy, they will continue to shame success.

This worked well for the communist state that successfully demonized the bourgeoisie against the proletariat and gained control of the people.

In a way democratic governments leverage “the will of the people” as their right to exist and abuse the population, I feel they will double down on this tactic and demonize success as “unconstitutional”.

But to what extent it will work I have no idea.
