Encryption in #nostr context is a public signature - not a means to hide the message ..

Just like #bitcoin .. all transactions are digitally signed and are public ..

In essence - #Satoshi's core design is

- all communications must be open and immutable but sender may choose to hide their identity

- no KYC - no central authority to validate identity .

How skillfully ( or not ) you hide your ID is upto you .. s/he did prove that design is good enough to hide yourself ..

Which seems quite the opposite of popular anarchists - they show who they are but want their communications private !

Isn't it strange ? In a convoluted way , it seems #Satoshi wasn't even an anarchist !
