It's pretty bloated, but it's got a lot of great features. Personally, I prefer Mint with xfce. A lot of people prefer Cinnamon, but I've been using xfce for so long that it's like second nature to me. Go with with what you know!

I used Mint with both Cinnamon and Xfce for many years. I preferred Cinnamon. I may go back to that actually. The ISO is downloaded 🥹

It feels like a more streamlined Ubuntu that retains the core functionality and features of Ubuntu.

id honestly lke to run fedora again. it's my favorite flavor. plus all of my 100+ work servers are all redhat so i am very familiar with the underlying system. however, all of my personal servers, less than 10, all run ubuntu server.

Ive never read a more pure reason. Curiousity endures.
