well, modern astrology is hot garbage that's for sure...

at best it possibly can provide a neophyte spiritual seeker some synchronistic mental masturbation but it really lacks the substance and, most importantly, the effectiveness and, lets call it practical inspired "directionalism" of traditional astrology... the old astrology wasnt about birth and rising and where is your moon, so much as hard core and pragmatic day to day decision making...

part of the reason these kids are so repulsed by the notion is that ALL they have been exposed to is modern astrology which is gay feminized psychobabble - and for most of them they can't even access the spiritual/intellectual set that their forefathers took for granted... so without that they fail to keep digging to get at the meat of what was going on -

much easier to simply write off the men, a far smarter, sober and better educated lot than they are , and with an eye to the spirit of things, as primitive idiots - which is childish, pompous and absurd at any rate.
