You never need to add oil to your nut butter. If you do, you’re not doing it right.

When I'm looking to buy any nut butter, if the ingredients list has anything other than "[the nut], salt", I ain't buying it. I don't care how much cheaper it is

I make that too, but the cinnamon maple Hodl butter, trust me you’ll want more of it. Hasn’t failed yet in 3 years of me making it 🤞🏼

Oh yea that's an exception. Fancy / flavored butters have to have their fancy stuff in them :)

What else would be needed to emulsify if oil isn't the thing to do it? Most oils (seed oils in particular) are used as emulsifiers, though they tend to harm the brain a lot.
