I wish I could reply to someone else's note without it appearing in the feed of all of my followers. People might only follow me for the #privacy / #bitcoin related content or whatever. I don't want to flood their feed with my irrelevant replies. This is why I hardly ever respond to anybody. Maybe i should use a second account for that. Or maybe I'm just overthinking. 🐧

Amethyst separates the two and Nostrudel.ninja lets us filter out replies/reposts
If somebody doesn't like seeing replies it's probably good for them to switch clients

what client are you on? certain clients like Amethyst and Primal allow you to choose a feed without replies if desired.
Snort and Iris are my main #nostr clients at the moment.
You're overthinking it. It's too early to bother anyone at this stage of development. Plus, it may help others who will be grateful that you brought it up.
